What to expect.

Preparation.

You’ll be speaking with people from various roles and levels across the Ogilvy team, regardless of the position you’re seeking. This diverse group will ask questions about your work and experience, sure, but they’ll also want to find out more about you as an individual.

Don’t stress—we’re not into trick questions. We’re not really interested in what kind of a tree you’d be or how closely you can estimate the number of jelly beans crammed into a barrel. We are interested to learn how you think, how you perceive the world and what you believe you can bring to further enrich our culture.

We’re looking for talent. We’re looking for authenticity and aspiration. We’re looking for people who think differently, collaborate fearlessly and inspire others to reach higher.

We’re looking for giants, in all their many forms.

Interview process.

  • Meeting cadence.

Depending on the role- we will have individual one on one meets with the hiring managers. Some roles require you to meet multiple team members at once.

Sometimes we also have candidates go through an assessment. Connect with your Talent Acquisition partner to verify what your process will look like.

  • Details.

Your Talent Acquisition partner will be able to assist in scheduling your interview. We will send you a link to add your availability on our Greenhouse platform, which we will confirm with you on who and when you are meeting the team.

We are happy to answer any further questions about your interview beforehand.

  • Updates.

We will do our best to provide updates after your conversations — your Talent Acquisition partner will contact you within 48 hours after your interview to provide an update.

  • Names and pronouns.

Respect begins with recognizing your correct name, pronunciation and identity. That simple validation is essential for us all, and while we ask for this information during your application process, we also ask that you discuss this with your Ogilvy Talent Acquisition partner so that our interviewing team knows your correct name and other details.

  • Accessibility & support

We want to support candidates with disabilities during the interview process. If a writing sample or other work is requested for the role you are interviewing for, we allow candidates the time and opportunity to request a reasonable accommodation, such as a different format for a written test.

Should you need a reasonable accommodation for your interviews, whether virtual or in person, please let your Talent Acquisition Partner know.
